Landscape and Visual Assessment

The site is in a wooded valley in North Devon and the proposal was for an extension to the existing  holiday park with an area of new lodges in a lakeside location.The size of the proposal presented potential issues with landscape and visual effects in the context of the picturesque and rural valley location in North Devon. We carried out a landscape and visual assessment and produced photomontages to help illustate the likely effects of the proposals and to inform mitigation measures.
