Greenearth Landscape carried out an LVIA and produced landscape plans and photomontages for this solar scheme in the Dorset National Landscape, at Dottery, near Bridport in Dorset.
Landscape Mitigation in a Sensitive Site
As this site is located on a hilltop in the Dorset National Landscape the level of evidence required that the scheme would not cause unacceptable landscape or visual effects was high and we liaised with Dorset Council throughout the process of assessment and design. An LVIA was carried and a series of photomontages were produced to illustrate the potential effects of the development. This work informed a landscape plan that included hedgebanks and native tree and scrub planting.
